All About Us
My name is Jennifer and I have been doing childcare in my home since September of 2003. My husband Brad and I have two Children, Caleb (age 20) and Addie (age 15). I love my job and take it very seriously. I have always loved working with children and was a nanny for many years. I am CPR / First Aid trained and certified, and I also continue to train and take new classes throughout the year. We try to maintain a “home sweet home” atmosphere by reading together, baking together etc. I use the Funshine Express preschool curriculum with the children year round but this is done in a relaxed manner. I try to follow the children’s lead so that they can enjoy their time here as much as possible.

As you search for child care, you will find many different programs with varying policies and routines. It's important you choose a program that aligns with your parenting philosophies and offers services you believe to be best for your child. Here are some things to consider about our program:
- We are a Christian home and your child will be exposed to Christian toys (books, puzzles, games, etc.) and references. We also celebrate Christian holidays with the children.
- We have a dog, a 12 pound mutt who is around the children during the day.
- I only accept children with current vaccinations unless a medical condition prevents a child from receiving them.
- We do not smoke and do not allow smoking on our property.
- We are a close group. The children grow together and love one another like siblings. These early relationships are so important. To foster them, I only enroll families who are looking for long term care (birth - kindergarten). If you think you may be moving or switching to a different type of program prior to kindergarten such as an all day, every day preschool program, Little Learners would not be a good fit for you.
