The temperatures have definitely cooled off but we were still able to spend an hour outdoors this morning. We finished up the letter S today and did a letter S worksheet. We found lots of letter S words and froze colored ice cubes to use for art tomorrow. We also made some new play dough! We made blue (our color this month) and used blue and red to make purple.

We are almost through our first theme of the month, Wacky Week, which is taking us longer than a week to complete due to our imaginary trip to Ireland over the course of last week and our St. Patrick's Day party on Friday.
We made wacky people in art today and finished up a project from last week. We got to spend over an hour outside today soaking up the sun and fresh air! We learned that today is the first day of spring and talked about some of the changes we'll see outside now that winter is gone. I've posted the menu for the week so you can have a look at that when you have time. ***Thursday is our Costume Pizza Party! Your child may bring a costume from home if they like, or they can just use ours. |
